1. Entitlement

1.1. The Welcome Wristband provides access to the following:

1.1.1. Free entry before 11:00pm to Students’ Union nightclub event venues throughout the

dates 17/09/2023 and 01/10/2023

1.1.1.1. Queue jump to the weekly Toast Monday at Rumba & Elysium Wednesday event for

the remainder of 2023/24 academic year.

1.2. The Premium Welcome Package provides the following additional benefits to the

Welcome Wristband

1.2.6. 10% discount in the following SU venues

1.2.6.1. Engine Shed, Waterside Campus

1.2.6.2. Art Shop, Development Hub UniExpress

1.2.6.3. Free entry before 11:00pm at Elysium on weds for the remainder of 2023.

2. Collection

2.1. Wristbands will only be available for collection from the Students’ Union Welcome Tent

at the following times and locations during Welcome Week:

2.1.1. Wednesday 13th September- 9am to 4pm, Students’ Union Welcome tent

2.1.2. Thursday 14th September- 9am to 4pm, Students’ Union Welcome tent

2.1.3. Friday 15 th September- 9am to 4pm, Students’ Union Welcome tent

2.1.4 Saturday 16 th September - 9am to 4pm, Students’ Union Welcome tent

2.1.5 Sunday 17 th September - 9am to 4pm, Students’ Union Welcome tent

2.1.6. Wednesday 20th September- 10am to 3pm, Welcome Fair,

Learning Hub

2.1.7. Thursday 21 st September- 10am to 3pm, Welcome Fair, Learning

Hub

Any uncollected wristbands will at this point be moved to the Engine Shed reception on

Waterside Campus for collection during normal opening hours.

3. Entry

3.1. All events are strictly 18+

3.2. You must have your Wristband with supporting photographic ID (Passport or Drivers

Licence only) to gain entry to events. If you appear under 25 you may be asked for ID to

enter the events and/or purchase alcohol as part of the Challenge 25 scheme - please

bring current photo identification with you, which must include your date of birth.

3.3. Students will be granted entry subject to capacity of respective venues at time of entry.

Arrive early to avoid disappointment.

3.4. Anyone deemed intoxicated will be refused entry.

3.5. The partnered venues operate a zero tolerance on drugs. Random searches are a

condition of entry.

Anyone found in possession will be permanently banned from the premises

3.6. Last queue jump is strictly 11pm.

3.7. The licensees reserve the right to refuse admission to the event site/building.

4. What You Can Bring

4.1. No alcohol is to be taken into any event.

4.2. Any item that is deemed unsuitable may be confiscated and will only be returned at our

discretion. This includes fireworks, smoke canisters, nitrous oxide (laughing gas),

offensive weapons or other similar articles and any person in possession of such articles

may be refused entry or ejected.

5. Wristbands

5.1. Wristbands remain the property of The University of Northampton Students' Union.

Any

wristband may be reclaimed by the Students' Union at any time without any right to

refund

5.2. Any wristband that has been deemed to be tampered with will become void

5.3. Lost wristbands cannot be replaced or refunded.

5.4. Wristbands are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

5.5. Wristbands are available to current University of Northampton students only (one per

person). Any non-student found to be accessing an event with a wristband will have that

wristband confiscated.

6. The Event

6.1. The management reserves the right to make any change to the event and/or line-up

owing to any unforeseen or unavoidable cause.

6.1.2. The management reserves the right to make any change to these terms and

conditions without notice.

6.2. The Organiser does not accept responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen property.

6.3. Customers found to be causing damage to the site, the site infrastructure, causing harm

to any other person on site or in breach of these conditions will be ejected from the site

and may be subject to prosecution.

6.4. Attendees give their express consent to the use of their actual or simulated likeness in

any photography, filming and/or audio recording taking place during the event. This

includes filming which may be carried out for the security of customers.

6.5. Any person found to be behaving in a manner deemed unsociable or potentially

dangerous will be ejected from the site without refund.

7. Acceptance

7.1. By purchasing your wristband, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions
